Yareal has a new general manager
Jacek Zengteler, Yareal Polska Board Member and the head of Residential, has been appointed the company’s new general manager.
In his new role, Jacek will be responsible for overseeing all operational departments.
Over the last 15 years, the company has built a sizable land portfolio with multiple projects in various stages of development and become an important player on the residential and office market. Currently, Yareal is preparing the next stage of its expansion / growth and that prompted the company`s Board to create a new position of the general manager responsible for implementing the strategy and overseeing the results.
Jacek Zengteler, who joined Yareal four years ago as head of Residential, has been in real estate development for 17 years. Since September 2016, as a Board Member responsible for residential projects, he not only increased the number of housing investments but also significantly expanded Yareal’s operations.
“An experienced General Manager will ensure the Board remains focused on its strategic, long-term goals and will provide strong grounds for the company to successfully take on any new challenges That`s why, together with our shareholders, I decided to appoint Jacek Zengteler as the General Manager of Yareal Polska ” – says Eric Dapoigny, the President of Yareal.
“What makes Yareal a truly exceptional company is the fact that we constantly strive to set the bar ever higher in every aspect of our operations, while also making sure the entire team is satisfied with the fruits of our labor. Yareal always pays great attention to even the smallest of details in both our office and residential projects, allowing us to seek added value for our customers while taking into account the many social and environmental aspects of our work. Each of Yareal’s projects becomes our flagship development, garnering recognition from customers and generating very satisfactory business results. One of our major challenges is maintaining our strong growth dynamics while preserving current standards and the company’s DNA. In the upcoming months, apart from working on our ongoing projects, we will continue with our further expansion by launching new office and housing developments across the country. We are also planning some improvements to the company's inner workings that will allow us to more flexibly adapt to the constantly growing scale of our operations. We have a great deal of potential for further growth, and we as a company look forward to new projects in Warsaw, the Tricity and maybe in other parts of the country too." – says Jacek Zengteler, General Manager of Yareal Polska.
Yareal is currently undertaking the biggest office investment in its history. The LIXA complex, located near the Daszyńskiego Roundabout in Warsaw’s Wola district, will offer 65,000 square meters of office space, a third of which will be occupied by the new headquarters of BNP Paribas. Two buildings to will be erected in the project’s first stage have already been purchased by a South Korean fund, Hana Investment Co. Ltd. Additionally, Yareal has been finalizing the lease of Nowogrodzka Square, a cozy office complex located in the center of the Polish capital, in recent months. This prestigious 11,500-square meter office building, located near the Central railway station, has already leased 80 percent of its available space. Moreover, the company has just completed the lease of another investment located in Warsaw’s Służewiec district. The entire second building of the Neopark complex, which covers 24,000 square meters, was let to cellular telecommunications provider Play. By the end of 2019, Yareal wants to deliver several hundred apartments to buyers in three completed investments in the Szczęśliwice, Wilanów and Stare Włochy districts. These are the first multi-family properties developed by Yareal to be awarded with BREEAM certificates. Meanwhile, the company is also working on six more residential investments in Warsaw, and is planning to launch its first project in Gdańsk early next year. All of Yareal’s housing investments have received BREEAM certification for sustainable building, becoming a new standard for Yareal’s office and residential projects.
