Over 80 pct. of LIXA’s newest office building has been leased
Advanced Power Solutions Poland (formerly Panasonic Energy Poland), a leading global manufacturer of batteries sold under the Panasonic brand, is among the newest tenants of office building LIXA C.
The company’s headquarters will occupy over 720 sq. m. of the building’s first floor. LIXA C was commissioned in the spring of this year.
LIXA C offers a total area of over 20,000 sq. m. It is the third building in the LIXA complex, located at the intersection of Wolska and Karolkowa Streets. Advanced Power Solutions is the fourth tenant that has decided to move their new headquarters to this building in Yareal’s modern office complex.
“We were looking for a site for our new headquarters which would offer the highest standards in modern office space, be in a prime location and have good public transport connections. LIXA will provide our team with comfortable working conditions in an attractive and contemporary office environment, fostering greater effectivity and giving our employees access to useful services and green areas, which are always a much-valued perk. Continuous business growth requires a flexible and modern office that is much more than just a place to work. This transition to LIXA is an important step for our team” – said Jacek Pniewski, Chief Financial Officer from Advanced Power Solutions.
“Advanced Power Solutions is yet another global tech brand that has chosen to locate its headquarters in the LIXA office complex. I am glad that that tech companies are choosing to move to our flagship office investment as we created LIXA with global, innovative brands in mind. The signing of a 5-year lease agreement with Advanced Power Solutions means that we will soon complete the commercialization of LIXA C, as only around ten percent of its office area will remain available” – commented Eric Dapoigny, CEO of Yareal Polska.
The tenant was represented by experts from ITRA Polska.
"We have found the optimal solution for our client who was looking for an office with easy access to public transport and on-site amenities for employees. LIXA meets these requirements, and at the same time, provides its users with a growth perspective within the location, thanks to the planned development of new buildings. This is a crucial argument for international organizations for which flexibility of the workspace is key", comments Izabela Kołcz, Advisor in ITRA Polska.
Composed of five separate buildings and offering a total target area of 77,000 sq. m. the LIXA complex is the largest office investment in real estate developer Yareal’s history. The complex’s first three buildings – A, B and C – have been commissioned and offer a total office and service area of 48,000 sq. m. Construction is currently underway on the investment’s final stage, i.e. office buildings D and E, which will be located by the LIXA City Gardens; a newly created 150-meter-long retail, restaurant and service promenade. It will feature two separate entrances from the complex’s public gardens. Advisors from consulting company JLL are currently working on commercializing the premises in the LIXA City Gardens, focusing on creating an optimal mix of tenants that will cater to employees working in LIXA during the daytime and to the area’s residents by night and on weekends. Once the project is complete and the promenade is opened, LIXA tenants will gain access to two green garden courtyards and terraces spanning over half a hectare.
LIXA is being built in accordance with the requirements and principles of contemporary green building and BREEAM certification. The investment, which was designed by the renowned HRA studio, features numerous environmentally-friendly solutions that ensure an Excellent BREEAM rating, including the exploitation of several hundred tons of recycled aluminum; a reusable material with one of the lowest carbon footprints in the world. The investment is also applying for WELL Health-Safety certification, a confirmation of the high standard of safety procedures employed within its buildings.
