Polish office of Mitsubishi Motors changes its seat to Yareal’s office building
Whole MMC Car Poland team (official distributor of Mitsubishi cars and parts in Poland) will move to NEOPARK office building in Warsaw’s quarter of Mokotów.
Starting this autumn, the company’s HQ will be located in building A. As first, out of two office buildings making up this small complex, has been commissioned, successive stage of the investment commences – construction of building B. In one year, when the construction ends, NEOPARK will have provided ca. 24,000 sq m of office space.
Employees of MMC Car Poland, a company representing Mitsubishi Motors in Poland, will occupy 1,000 sq m of space in the recently commissioned state-of-the-art office building designed to meet changing needs of employees, including the youngest group of so-called Millennials.
“The choice was significantly influenced by location in the metropolitan part Mokotów’s Służewiec, in direct neighbourhood of the Polish State Railways station, and in the surrounding of a dozen or so public transport stops. We’ve chosen NEOPARK, having recognised the functional character and interesting architecture of the building offering convenient surroundings and numerous user‑friendly solutions” explained Krzysztof Matusewicz, Financial Director, MMC Car Poland.
Sodexo restaurant will also open in NEOPARK this autumn. Bearing in mind the needs of the tenants of the campus-like office complex built by Yareal, Sodexo Polska On-site Services has elaborated new format of a restaurant, which will substantially diverge from the previously known model. Major features of Sodexo’s new formula consists in abandoning the idea of a traditional restaurant and creating a place for meetings and sharing information, a friendly space to both relax and work. Sodexo group has prepared “2017 Global Workplace Trends Report”, which proves that in the wake of new technologies, boundaries between professional life and leisure time after work are becoming blurred. Global HR experts indicate that due to this phenomena, it is advisable to strive for workplaces that are even more friendly towards humans, favouring cross-working, i.e. interactions between representatives of different generations, specialisations and industries. The report’s conclusions have been reflected in the concept of the new restaurant.
“It’s an entirely new format of a meeting place, reaching beyond a common formula of a staff restaurant. We provide employees of big, interdisciplinary and international teams with a separate area with comfortable armchairs and LCD screens with camera, which will enable organisation of meetings or virtual lunches with teams located in Warsaw, London, Paris or Beijing. Those who enjoy working in a dynamic environment will for sure appreciate spots where they can plug in their mobiles and computers. Comfortable furniture and large tables favour establishing contacts, friendship, resting and relaxing as well as working in a less formal atmosphere. Four show-cooking stands will satisfy culinary curiosity of both – Millennials thirsting for modern cuisine, as well as traditionalists preferring classic meals. We are certain that such a format of a restaurant is a realization of our mission to improve the quality of life of the guests visiting the restaurant in NEOPARK building” says Katarzyna Skipor, Head of Marketing Corporate Services & Food Platform CEE in Sodexo.
“The already functioning building A provides tenants with nearly 12,000 sq m of office space. Within a year, when the whole complex is finished, NEOPARK will have offered total of some 24,000 sq m of office space as well as 140 covered bicycle racks, underground parking for 543 cars and 75 parking places outside of the building,” explains Eric Dapoigny, President of Yareal Polska. “NEOPARK complex has been designed as a building with an entirely glass façade and sunny, spacious terraces cascading towards green inner yard. As a result, our investment offers unique space for work and relax” he adds.
MMC Car Poland was represented by Nuvalu Polska during the negotiations of the lease agreement, while Yareal Polska had Jones Lang LaSalle Sp. z o.o. acting on its behalf.
Both NEOPARK buildings will be equipped with numerous environmentally friendly solutions allowing it to receive “Excellent” BREEAM certificate for sustainable construction.
